The following photographs and treatment results were recorded in the early 20th Century by René Quinton and Dr Jean Jarricot at the Quinton Dispensaries. This is just a small selection of the thousands of patients that were successfully treated for Eczema and other many conditions using Quinton Marine Plasma.
There are now topical Quinton Marine Plasma products which can be used in addition to the oral preparations for Dermatology cases.
Eczema
Case 1:
In the first photograph we see the arms and hands of a 50 year old woman with weeping infectious eczema on her face, neck, hands, and arms with strong itching.
• Treatment: Quinton Marine Plasma only. 30ml followed by 50ml then 100ml injections twice a week
• The itching stopped after the third injection; weeping after the fourth
• Total quantity of injected QMP: about 560cc. No other adjunctive treatment given
• Result: completely cured in 35 days (2nd photograph)
Case 2:
The little girl had been suffering with Infectious eczema for 10 months. After two months of feeding by bottle, the child went back to breast feeding. The eczema appeared on the third day of this new regime. The condition persisted despite dietary changes and care.
Treatment with Quinton Marine Plasma started on 8th April. The first photo taken on 23rd April when child was already very much improved.
• Treatment: 10ml followed by 15ml then 25ml injections of Quinton Marine Plasma with no other treatment.
• The exact regime was not recorded but the total quantity of injected QMP was about 400ml.
• Treatment stopped after 27th May as healing was complete.
• Result: completely cured after 10 weeks. The 2nd photograph taken on 27th June.
Case 3:
First photograph taken on 9th March shows a 37 year old man with Lichenoid eczema on his neck, hands and wrists for the previous seven years. Hospital treatment had yielded temporary improvements but never any healing.
• Treatment: Quinton Marine Plasma - 21 injections in total: seven at 20ml, then seven at 30ml each with spectacular improvements but [still] too weak a dose. Finally he was given seven injections at 40ml each.
• Total quantity of injected QMP: 630ml
• Result: completely cured in just under a month. The 2nd photograph was taken on 2nd April.
Case 4
• The first photograph taken on 24th January shows Infectious eczema on the leg of a 28 year old woman which had persisted for 4 months. Previous treatments had produced no results. Symptoms were strong itching and difficulty with walking.
• The 2nd photograph taken on 13 February shows an impressive improvement. However in order to arrive at this result smaller doses needed to be used since doses in excess of 30ml provoked new eruptions.
• In all 41 injections of Quinton Marine Plasma were given at the rate of twice a week at a dosage of 20ml and 30ml. Higher dosages were avoided to prevent the patient from having a strong adverse reaction.
• The total quantity of QMP injected was 1250ml
• Result: Complete cure was confirmed six months after the end of treatment.
